Please read carefully the terms and conditions of this Agreement with the client before making the reservation and the related purchase of the services of medellinprivatedriver.com for the full understanding of your right and duty and the Medellin Private Driver’s right and responsibility. By becoming a medellinprivatedriver.com customer, you agree that you have read, understood and agreed to the following "Terms and Conditions", and the irrevocable consent to be limited by all, said, "Terms and Conditions", including all updates. medellinprivatedriver.com has the right to modify the Terms and Conditions, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without prior notice. medellinprivatedriver.com encourages you to print  a copy of this Agreement to review and carry out with you on the trip.

Payment of tolls, gas expenses and general maintenance utilities necessary to provide the service.

Cancellation Policies

In order to provide the best of services, our attention to detail and respect the time of our customers is vital, so it is important that you consider the following information:

General clauses

  • Cancellations or changes made 8 to 3 days before the date of the trip we charge you a 30% fee of the service total amount.

  • Cancellations or changes in reservations within 3 days to 24 hours prior to the trip, we charge you a 50% fee of the service total amount.

  • Cancellations or changes in less than 24 hours are not refundable.

  • Refunds will be made in the next 60 business days and the commission for international transfer that will be assumed by the client.

  • Once the trip has started, it must be fully paid.

  • For security reasons, once the tour has started, the client will remain seated until a stop is made.

  • The stops are made by necessity, at the suggestion of the driver or client, they affect the circumstances, without negatively affecting the trip schedules.

  • In the event that the client decides by their own will, leave the previously scheduled tour and stay in a different place to the destination site or make different stops than those stipulated, provided that there is availability in the driver's reservation schedule, you can modify the itinerary and the client will take care of the expenses that this implies.

  • Medellín Private Driver assumes no responsibility for events such as accidents, strikes, earthquakes, weather events or health issues, heavy traffic or any situation of force majeure that may occur along the way.

  • Medellín Private Driver reserves the right to withdraw the services provided to those who, due to a serious moral or disciplinary cause, attempt against themselves, with the delivery of the service, personal qualifications, third parties or third party goods.

  • It is strictly forbidden to conduct behaviors that interfere with the safety and comfort of personnel or third parties.

  • For the Guatapé and Santa Fé tours:

    • If the route or journey was delayed because of the client, a maximum waiting time of 30 minutes is given to avoid major changes in the itinerary.

    • In case of mechanical difficulties, damage to vehicles, adverse weather conditions or any other type of circumstance outside of our control, delays in the route may occur, for the private driver of Medellin undertakes to do his best to the end that the service is provided in the agreed conditions and the passengers remain safe and safe on the way.

    For the trip to the airport:

    • If the journey was delayed because of the client, or the conditions outside the airport restrictions, the driver tries to communicate through WhatsApp, phone call, email and / or any means of communication agreed to confirm the meeting.

    • The driver assigned to you is waiting for you with a board that has your name for 30 minutes after the agreed time of the meeting, taking into account the airport processes.

    For the hourly private driver:

    • You can purchase this service for any tour within the city of Medellin or nearby cities and the price will be agreed for the time taken, which will start from the moment the customer enters the car.

    • The driver will wait for you at the agreed time and place. If a situation of force majeure arises, the driver will seek to communicate with the client as soon as possible.

    Traveler Responsibilities

    Travel responsibilities include:

    • Route selection according to customer needs and interests.
    • Acquisition of insurance with suitable coverage, and necessary elements to maintain your health.
    • Wear appropriate clothing and equipment according to the selected route and your personal needs.
    • Ensure the safety of your personal belongings.
    • A manifestation of needs or requirements to seek necessary or immediate attention by our staff.
